Girl Scouts Donate Tulip Tree

We are so grateful to Girl Scout Troop 11208 for donating a tulip tree to Prevent Child Abuse Habersham in honor of World Thinking Day on May 8th! The theme this year was “growth” and watching a tree grow will offer an excellent object lesson for the girls. The tree (below center) will be planted in the backyard of the Family Resource Center so that visiting children will be able to care for it and watch it grow.

Pictured Above-Back Row: Victoria Kemp, Isabella Kemp, Stephanie Kemp, Sydney Poirier, and Amelia Moeller. Middle Row: Erika Dailey, Laken Bushey, Chloe Simmons, and Morgan Webb. Front Row: Reese Scott, Jaimee Scott, Samantha Crosby, Emma Nichols, and Paige Antley.

Here’s a close-up of our Tulip Tree!
